Gives you the height that you need to get the change that you want.

Usage

Use this jack on a safe jacking point to lift a vehicle, then place a jack stand under another safe jacking point and adjust it to the maximum height under that point. Lower the jack so that the vehicle comes to rest on the jack stand.

Creeper

Like a luge, only for concrete rather than ice, and for lying still rather than going fast.

Usage

Lie on your back on the creeper so you can roll around under a vehicle rather than awkwardly shimmying across the cold, dirty ground. Please don't try to roll on rough bitumen or over uneven seams between concrete slabs, as the castor wheels can be damaged by this. If it takes more than a gentle push to roll yourself, get off the creeper before moving it.

Engine Crane

A crane for lifting engines and putting them back down.

Usage

Unfold the engine crane and lock it in place before use. Operate it like a hydraulic floor jack.

Do not use the engine crane to store an engine. The crane is only to be used to pick up and put down objects. Leaving the crane extended can cause rust on the hydraulic ram's exposed shaft.

Extension Cable

Brings the power to the people.

Usage

Fully unroll the cable, even if you're only using it for a short extension. A coiled cable carrying current becomes a heating element.

Do not drive vehicles over the cable, or place the cable where others may need to move vehicles across its path. Cables break very quickly if driven on.

Funnels

Make fluid go where it's welcome.

Usage

Ensure the funnel is clean and dry. Place the funnel in something that needs fluid in it. Pour fluid through the funnel.

Clean the funnel thoroughly after use, as it may be used for a different fluid by the next person, and oily residue collects dirt in storage. If you don't want to clean the funnel, buy a disposable one instead.

Usage

Drain Pans

Keeps the oil off the soil.

Usage

Place below your oil sump, radiator or brake caliper to catch dropping fluids.

Do not leave oil or other fluids in the pan or at the space. Empty the pan as soon as practicable, as tripping on it will make a very big mess.

Takes the back pain out of brake and suspension jobs.

Usage

Sit on the stool. Store tools temporarily on the tray at the bottom so they're within reach. Don't try to roll over rough bitumen or uneven joints between concrete slabs. This can damage the castor wheels. If it takes more than a gentle push to move the stool, stand up to move it.

Service Ramps

More accessible to wheeled vehicles than service stairs.

Usage

Place in front of the vehicle's front or rear tyres in a pair (never use one ramp alone). Ensure the ramps are straight. Kick the ramps under the tyres to decrease the chance of them sliding. Slowly drive the car up the ramps. Listen for the sound of the ramps sliding. Stop and try again if either ramp slides - they must remain even. At the top of the ramps, you will feel the vehicle drop down into the top. Do not …

Spring Compressors

A deceptively dangerous tool that requires great care for safe operation. They allow you to remove pre-loaded springs from MacPherson struts in order to change the springs or shock absorbers. They also allow you to safely disassemble a MacPherson strut to re-use the top mount with an aftermarket adjustable coilover strut.
