Infrastructure

This page documents the various physical and digital facilities in place for HSBNE.

Infrastructure broadly falls into two categories:

Physical Services: Things like Electrical, Water, Compressed Air
Digital Services: Physical things like servers, networks, racks etc; Home Automation IoT and software; cloud services like aws and SaaS products; as well as the software we host.

The electrical systems of HSBNE, such as Line Diagrams, documentation on circuits, loads etc.

HSBNE Servers - Our on site and cloud based servers, and the role each one plays in our infrastructure.
Forum - The official HSBNE communication platform for discussion.
Wiki - The place for all HSBNE documentation (in fact, it's the site you're on right now!).
Access Control System - The RFID based door locks, machine interlocks, and spacebucks endpoints.
Member Portal - Our member portal, and access control/spacebucks backend.
Greenroom Kiosk - Our touch screen kiosk to facilitate common tasks.
Site access via a VPN and/or Zerotier. Please ask the infrastructure team for details if you need access.
Surveillance - Network Video Recorder. Stores video from security cameras.

ZigBee Network - This is the HSBNE ZigBee network filled with various sensors.
Green Room Display - This is the screen in the green room that shows the status of our various sensors.

Home Assistant (hass.io) - Our very own home automation system and IoT sensor hub.
Members Storage - For storing your projects, parts & pieces
Drinks Vending Machines - Lobby drinks vending machines
Food Vending Machines - Lobby food vending machines [WIP]
Space API - Please see the member portal which implements the space API.

Dyno - Mainly used for auto responders and FAQs.
Pollmaster - Please document me!
Starboard - Used to mark a message as a “thank-you” for inclusion in the “thankyous” channel.
Emoji.gg - used to easily add new emoji/reacts to the server.
