Working

Machine is working as expected.

This machine does not require induction to use.

The usage of the sand blaster is relatively strait forward. However there are some prerequisites before using:

  1. Move the Vacuum nearby (as per the photo on this page) and connect the hose to the cyclone separator. Ensure that the hose is also attached to the red strain relief clip.
    1. Ensure that the vacuum is powered on and ready to go. Does it need to be emptied? - don't leave it to someone else.
  2. Connect an airline to the back of the cabinet.
  3. Connect the power for the internal light to a power point.
  4. Ensure that there is blasting medium inside the cabinet in the hopper (the bottom of the cabinet).
    1. If not there should be more in the box under the cabinet.
  5. Turn on both switches on the vacuum. It is important to have the vacuum going as otherwise grit will be spread through the machine shop and eventually ruin the machines.
  6. Turn on the airline.
    1. If using the retractable reel at the back of the workshop there is a control valve that needs to be turned on.
  7. Blast away!

Once complete, don't just walk away! Please return everything to how it was. Please help us to keep the metalshop orderly and a pleasant working space for everyone.

The accessories for the machine (extra window protectors, etc) are in the box on the lower shelf.

Recommended We recommend hearing protection.
Recommended Please wear goggles or a face shield
